These Supercar-inspired Bluetooth Speakers Cost Over RM80,000 Each!

Officially entering the local Malaysian market late last week is Italian bespoke audio brand iXOOST. The brand’s range of ultra high-end Bluetooth speakers, each with its own distinct identity, are now distributed locally by ICT products specialists VSTECS Astar Sdn Bhd.

Present to launch the brand and its products were VSTECS Astar Sdn Bhd CEO Soong Jan Hsung, and iXOOST representatives led by Antonio Panini. Rooted in Modena, Italy, the iXOOST brand is best known for various collaborations with brands such as Lamborghini, Pirelli, Mercedes-AMG, and more.

“We are not just offering audio systems; we are bringing a slice of Modena’s motoring history, and with it, a piece of our soul,” says Giovanni Panini, founder of iXOOST. “This partnership is more than just a distribution; it's a venture into a special market where luxury, technology, and automotive passion converge,” adds VSTECS Astar Sdn Bhd CEO Soong.

At the official brand launch held late last week, both firms had several of the signature offerings from iXOOST showcased. Leading things were the brand’s two products made in collaboration with Italian supercars marque Lamborghini – the ESAVOX and AVALAN.

The ESAVOX was created from original Lamborghini exhaust parts plus a carbon monocoque chassis. Housed in the latter is a passive vibration damping system, high-sensitivity 10-inch subwoofer,  and a trio of 400 Watt amplifiers integrated with Bluetooth 5.0 Apt-X™ technology.

Both the ESAVOX and AVALAN can be ordered in the same signature colours donning on the Lamborghini supercars that inspired them.

To complement its exterior design, the ESAVOX is available in some of Lamborghini’s iconic colour combinations as well – Green Gea, Grey Keres Matte, Orange Anthaeus, Red Epona, Blue Uranus and White Siderale.

As for the AVALAN, it pairs original Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica exhausts and hexagonal grille combination to house 80-Watt Class D amplifiers that power dual one-inch tweeters and two five-inch drivers to create a rich auditory experience.

Like the ESAVOX, the AVALÁN can also be had in iconic Lamborghini colour combinations of Viper Green Shiny - Contrast Bianco Isi Shiny, Blu Aegeus Matt - Contrast Blu Astraeus Matt, and Bianco Asopo Shiny - Contrast Viper Green shiny.

iXOOST also has the first and only hi-fi audio system to bear the famed Mercedes-AMG badge, which it christens as the "AMG Performance Luxury Audio" unit.

For the discerning Mercedes-AMG fan, iXOOST has the AMG Performance Luxury Audio unit – the first and only hi-fi system to bear the revered three-lettered performance badge from Mercedes-Benz. Moreover, it also boasts an aesthetic design that resembles the signature Panamericana grille design.

Said grille is constructed out of aluminium, and is paired with a carbon fibre monocoque housing – complete side-pipes, just like a real AMG! – where a dynamic range of two woofers, four tweeters and two bass reflexes are mounted and deliver 360-degree sound experience.

According to iXOOST, the XiLO unit pictured stands as the brand's ultimate expression of "made in Modena".

Showcased at the launch too was the XiLO which, according to iXOOST, is the ultimate expression of “made in Modena”. It features a monocoque chassis built with wood and aluminium, complemented by a hand-made exhaust manifold.

Powering this unit is a 2X100 + 1X200 Watts amplifier, and iXOOST says users can stream music files from smartphones, tablets and computers through it via Bluetooth aptX™ connectivity, which converts sounds immediately, reproducing the audio as is was originally conceived.

Other offerings available from iXOOST include a pair of speaker made in collaboration with Abarth (top), and Pirelli (bottom) in the shape of the marque's iconic P Zero F1 tyre.

These showcased products aside, it’s also worth noting the iXOOST’s current range of products include other designs like a Pirelli F1-tyre shaped P Zero unit, as well as a unit made using a real-life Suomy MotoGP helmet once donned by modern-day Italian MotoGP star Andrea Dovizioso.

Certainly, given the high-end materials and audio hardware primed in each hand-crafted unit, not to mention the striking designs each boasts, it comes to no surprise that the iXOOST range of audio kit doesn’t come cheap. In fact, they-re astronomical.

iXOOST also makes a speaker unit out of a Suomy MotoGP helmet once donned by modern day Italian MotoGP star Andrea Dovizioso.

According to VSTECS Astar Sdn Bhd, the starting prices range between RM80,000 and RM240,000 depending on model. Each are offered as bespoke items that are configured-to-order by each customer, with each order taking roughly three to four months to fulfil.

Additionally, keen prospects with the means and interest to order can view and experience these iXOOST audio systems first hand through retailers Hoe Huat Electric Sdn Bhd located on the first floor of the Encorp Strand Mall, Petaling Jaya.
