- MAS Fleets BMW i7 As Luxury Terminal Transfer Limos
In collaboration with BMW Group Malaysia and leadier dealers Ingress Auto Sdn Bhd, MAS has fleeted the BMW i7 for its exclusive private terminal transfer service at KLIA Terminal 1.
National flag-bearer Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has upped the ante specifically for its top tier passengers. Earlier today, said airline revealed its new fleet of BMW i7 luxury limos that will be used for its exclusive private terminal transfer service at its home base of KLIA Terminal 1.
Borne out of the airline’s collaboration with BMW Group Malaysia and leading dealers Ingress Auto Sdn Bhd, said service aims to provide unrivalled premium comfort – and style – to passengers transferring between KLIA Terminal 1’s Main Terminal Building and Satellite Building.
MAS notes that this exclusive service guarantees dedicated transportation, with vehicles allocated for solo travellers, couples, and families up to four (4) passengers per car. This, in turn, ensures a smooth and comfortable journey as part of the airline’s end-to-end customer experience.
This exclusive premium service is set to start from Feb 1, 2024, and it's offered exclusively to Enrich Platinum, Business Suite, and Business Class passengers.
Open exclusively to Enrich Platinum, Business Suite, and Business Class passengers, this service from MAS is set to commence from Feb 1, 2024. It will run as a 24-hour service alongside the airline’s existing Premium Bus transfer service.
MAS adds the initial phase will see this fleet of BMW i7 limos serve departing passengers via its pick-up point at Gate G1 of the Main Terminal Building. More units will be deployed to serve arriving passengers in the near future, pending completion of the Satellite Building’s new arrival lounge.
MAS adds that this premium service will run 24-hours a day alongside its existing Premium Bus service. In its initial phase, this service will serve departing passengers first, but the national flag-bearer seeks to have it serve arriving passengers soon too.
“With this exclusive service, we aim to enhance the travel experience for our top-tier customers, ensuring that they can enjoy premium comfort as part of their end-to-end journey with us,” says Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, CEO of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG).
Ahmad Luqman also noted that MAS is now the only carrier offering this temporary personalised service to passengers in light of KLIA Terminal 1’s continued aerotrain service suspension. The exec adds the BMW i7 was selected as it also reinforces the airline’s commitment to embedding sustainable practices.

“As the leading provider of premium electric vehicles in the country, this collaboration perfectly complements our dedication to creating more awareness on EVs as well as the need for responsible mobility” adds Sashi Ambihaipahan, Head of Corporate Comms and Sustainability for BMW Group Malaysia.
“We are thrilled to partner with Malaysia Airlines in providing a luxurious and electrifying travel experience for their premium passengers. We look forward to contributing to the elevated standards of service offered by Malaysia Airlines,” continued Rabian Ab Rahman, Managing Director of Ingress Auto Sdn Bhd.
