This Diamond-Studded G-Class Makes For A Great Valentine's Gift

Mercedes-Benz is celebrating Valentine's Day by paying tribute to one of its most iconic vehicles, the G-Wagen. The "Stronger Than Diamonds" Edition takes a G 550 and finishes it with MANUFAKTUR Rosewood Grey Magno paint, which was created specifically for this edition.
The SUV also has a.25-carat diamond set into each door locking pin, and the interior is finished in MANUFAKTUR Black Nappa Leather with Rosé contrast stitching and deep-pile floor mats. 

Limited to 300 units worldwide, the price for this special edition iconic SUV has not been mentioned, but expect to pay a little more than you would for a box of candy. 

Of course, it will be a significant step up for a unique model like this, which the German automaker is announcing in a global campaign titled "A love that lasts forever." Stronger than diamonds" features a video of the SUV and some of its unique features.

The 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine produces 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque; there's nothing new under the hood. A nine-speed automatic transmission powers the four wheels, and the powerful G550 can accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in 5.6 seconds.
