TechArt Brings Sharper Styling And More Power To Face-lifted Porsche Cayenne
German Porsche tuners TechArt refreshed its catalogue with brand new parts and accessories for the face-lifted third-gen Porsche Cayenne.
Think the recently refreshed Porsche Cayenne super-SUV lacked oomph? Even in its more potent and electrified V8-engined forms? Well, you’d want to give the latest tuning kit for from renowned Porsche tuners TechArt a look then.
Revealed recently, the Leonberg-rooted tuning firm has been offering tuning packages for the popular Porsche SUV for a while now. Its latest effort brings a slew of kit made to fit both the standard- and coupe-bodied versions of the updated third-gen Cayenne.
TechArt's latest for the Cayenne sees a full aerokit available, and it brings an angrier front-end matched with a full carbon hood. Wheels, on the other hand, measure 21-inch and up.
We’ll start with the rather wild aerokit, and TechArt have prepared a rather pronounced front bumper extension, intake garnish, a full carbon hood, oversized splitter, side skirts, as well as a revised rear bumper with extra fins and large diffuser.
Whilst the Cayenne Coupe gets a prominent roof-mounted rear wing and extended adaptive spoiler, the standard-bodied Cayenne gets a double carbon fibre spoiler arrangement instead. Capping things off here are a range of wheels measuring 21-inches and up.
TechArt doesn’t offer any chassis upgrades but did note the aerokit detailed delivers enhanced “balanced aerodynamics at any speeds.” On board, TechArt brings a range of Alcantara and leather upholstery choices with customisable coloured stitching and carbon fibre accents.
Other key features include a sports exhaust system with carbon or titanium tips and, for the Cayenne Coupe pictured, it also gets a double spoiler arrangement.
Over on to the powertrain and TechArt’s latest hardware sees the Cayenne S model’s 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo mill gaining 89 HP and 120 NM. With this kit, said mill now churns out 557 HP and 720 NM, which surpasses the output figures of the Cayenne GTS variant.
The added speed is also matched with a fitting soundtrack through a new TechArt sports exhaust system. This can be fitted with either the standard exhaust pipes or matched with upgraded exhaust tips formed out of either carbon or titanium.
No pricing scheme was mentioned yet, but it’s certain that this new tuning package for the face-lifted Cayenne from TechArt won’t be a bargain to say the least.
