Based on its signature GT Street R tuning package for the Porsche 911, tuners Techart have devised a new 'Monochrome' package to celebrate the Porsche 911 Turbo nameplate's 50th anniversary.

Thought Porsche’s efforts at celebrating the 911 Turbo nameplate’s half-century mark appeared a tad subdued? Well, renowned Porsche tuners Techart might just have the perfect alternative, provided you’ve got the means for one that is…

Pictured here is the firm’s new Techart Monochrome, and it’s essentially the existing 992.1-gen Porsche 911 Turbo that’s been cranked all the way to 11.

Based on the firm’s signature GT Street R, the Monochrome tuning package and alternative anniversary special brings unique styling, new wheels, and a fully customised interior whilst retaining the tuning brand’s distinct aggressive aero plus a huge power boost.

For the Monochrome, Techart has endowed it with plenty of unique aesthetic touches plus a slew of additional aerodynamic upgrades plus 22-inch Formula VIII forged wheels.

Additionally, Techart offers two different rear wing styes - raised racing-style wing or classic ducktail - for customers to choose from.

Visual upgrades over the GT Street R include the special Techart crest on the front bonnet, striking 22-inch Formula VIII forged alloy wheels, extensive carbon fibre aerokit largely similar to the GT Street R’s, as well as GT3 RS-style vents.

Notably, Techart offers two rear spoiler choices, and it sees either a subtle ducktail, or a massive motorsports-style rear wing. Altogether, these aero upgrades generates four times more downforce than stock whilst reducing front axle lift by 45% at 140 KM/H, says Techart.

On board, Techart elected to fully redux the cabin with a mix of new leather, Alcantara, and heritage fabrics lining the interior, plus a slew of carbon fibre trims. The firm also swapped to black aluminium pedals, footrests and side sills.

On board, the Techart Monochrome has been fully redux with alcantara, leather, legacy fabrics, carbon fibre, as well as black aluminium.

Completing the interior redux are a slew of Techart badges scattered across the cabin. Naturally, much of these can be customised to a customer’s desire, and the same applies to the Monochrome’s exterior hue despite what its name suggests.

Of course, powerful style means nothing without the actual power to back it all up, and Techart obliges in the best possible fashion. Under the rear engine cover, the twin-turbo 3.8-litre flat (boxer) 6-cyl mill has been fettled properly.

Outputs have been cranked up to 799 HP and 950 NM, thus enabling the Techart Monochrome to despatch a V-max of up to 350 KM/H. Said output figures mark a 158 HP and 150 NM boost overt the stock 911 Turbo S figures.

Just 20 units of the Techart Monochrome will be built, each packing no less than 799 HP as well.

Techart didn’t specify any chassis or suspension upgrades in particular, but customers can typically choose between lowering springs or adjustable coilovers available form the tuners.

Techart didn’t disclose any price figures for this tuning package for the 911 Turbo, but given its status as an ‘anniversary special’ of sorts to mark the half-century of the base Porsche model mentioned, the firm is limiting the Monochrome’s availability to just 20 units worldwide.
