Bermaz Auto (BAuto) has unveiled the Mazda3 Concept, a bold new prototype created by its MazdaSports Division. The vehicle was showcased during the Bermaz Auto Showcase and represents a refreshed take on the original Mazda3 MS Edition launched in 2016.

The new Mazda3 Concept is designed to deliver a more personalised driving experience. It stays true to the Jinba-Ittai philosophy, enhancing the connection between car and driver with updated styling and performance.

This concept features Enkei Tuning SC22 wheels in Matte Gunmetal, giving it a more aggressive stance while also improving handling. Endless Super Street S-Sports Brake Pads offer stronger braking stability, better fade resistance, and greater comfort during spirited drives.

The exterior includes a bespoke piano black body kit, a redesigned rear spoiler, and a larger exhaust tip. All of these upgrades sharpen the Mazda3’s sporty character and aerodynamic performance. The front strut bar also proudly bears the MS initials, reinforcing its performance-focused identity.

Powering the Mazda3 Concept is the familiar 2-litre SkyActiv-G engine, delivering 162 HP and 213 NM. It’s paired with a 6-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission, offering a smooth yet responsive driving experience.

Inside, the cabin gets a motorsport-inspired makeover. Suede-trimmed seats with a red center stripe provide both style and comfort, while the suede-wrapped steering wheel improves grip and driving control. Exclusive body vinyl stickers complete the car’s unique look inside and out.

Additionally, the chassis and suspension tuning have been refined to deliver a smoother, more engaging drive. The use of premium materials and attention to detail further enhance the overall driving experience.

According to BAuto, the Mazda3 Concept is more than just a prototype. It represents the group's commitment to innovation and fans of the brand who crave performance, design, and a driving pleasure.

The Mazda3 Concept will be on display at the Bermaz Auto Showcase from April 10 to 13 at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya and from April 16 to 20 at Queensbay Mall, Penang.
