- Zeekr 7X Malaysian Specs Unveiled – Launching Soon?
The full specifications for the Malaysian-spec Zeekr 7X have been revealed in an official brochure published on Zeekr Malaysia’s website, signalling that the model’s local launch is just around the corner.
First shown locally at the Malaysia Autoshow (MAS) 2025 in May, the electric SUV will be offered in three variants for Malaysia - RWD Standard, RWD Long Range, and AWD Performance. Indicative launch prices for the first 500 customers remain at RM182,000, RM195,000, and RM230,000 respectively.
The 7X measures 4,787 MM long, 1,930 MM wide and 1,650 MM tall, with a 2,900 MM wheelbase. It rides on Geely’s advanced Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) 800V platform, promising a rigid structure, refined ride quality, and generous interior space.
Its footprint positions it between the Tesla Model Y, the BYD Sealion 7 and the XPeng G6, all of which are also offered in Malaysia in multiple variants.
For reference, the Tesla Model Y is priced from RM195,450 to RM242,450 depending on specification, whereas the BYD Sealion 7 starts from RM183,800 and goes up to RM199,800, while the XPeng G6 is priced between RM168,000 and RM188,000.
Both RWD variants of the 7X use a single rear motor producing 310 kW (416 HP) and 440 Nm, allowing a century sprint time of 6.0 seconds. The AWD Performance adds a front motor for a combined 475 kW (637 HP) and 710 Nm, cutting the sprint time to just 3.8 seconds.
WLTP ranges are rated at 480 KM for the RWD Standard with its 75 kWh LFP “Golden Battery”, 615 KM for the RWD Long Range with a 100 kWh NMC pack, and 543 KM for the AWD Performance which also uses the 100 kWh NMC battery.
All models support 22 kW AC charging. DC charging peaks at 450 kW for the RWD Standard thanks to the LFP chemistry, while the RWD Long Range and AWD Performance are rated at 420 kW.
Inside, Malaysian-spec offerings feature a 16-inch 3.5K Mini-LED central display powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip. This is paired with a 13.02-inch driver display. Higher trims get a 21-speaker 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos audio system, Nappa leather upholstery, ventilated and massaging front seats, and a panoramic glass roof.
The AWD Performance adds active air suspension, CDC adaptive dampers, and powered doors for an even more premium driving experience.
Safety equipment includes Zeekr Intelligent Driving with Level 2 ADAS, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis view.
With its confirmed specifications and pricing, the Zeekr 7X now lines up directly against other solid offerings in the almost similarly priced midsize premium EV segment, giving buyers another strong contender in the race for performance, range and technology.
