Xpeng has marked a major milestone with the production of its one-millionth vehicle, underscoring the company’s rapid ascent in the global electric vehicle (EV) sector. The announcement was made by chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng during the opening day of the Auto Guangzhou 2025.
The one-millionth vehicle rolled off the production line just 14 months after Xpeng reached its 500,000th-unit milestone. He noted that it took the company 82 months to reach the halfway point from its first production model, highlighting how quickly Xpeng’s scale has accelerated.

To commemorate the moment, Xpeng said that “1,000,000 is more than a number - it’s a community of pioneers,” and invited the owner of the milestone vehicle to celebrate the rollout in person.
The vehicle itself is an extended-range X9 MPV, with customer delivery expected in the coming days once logistics are complete.

This reflects a 75.66% increase over the same month last year and a modest rise from Sept’s 41,581 units. From Jan to Oct, Xpeng delivered 355,209 vehicles, representing year-on-year growth of 190.02%.
Xpeng’s latest offering, the X9 EREV MPV, which we covered earlier today, delivers an all-electric range of 452 km. Combined with its 60-liter fuel tank, the MPV achieves a total range of 1,602 km (CLTC).
