- Launched: Leapmotor B10 EV – Two CBU Variants, From RM99,800*

The all-new Leapmotor B10 EV makes its Malaysian debut today, featuring two CBU variants priced from RM99,800*.
Following its teaser and booking commencement, the all-new Leapmotor B10 EV has finally made its Malaysian debut today. Featuring two fully-imported (CBU) variants from China, this C-segment EV SUV crossover is priced from RM99,800* for the baseline Life and RM109,800* for the top-spec Design.

Mind you, the prices listed above are inclusive of the special early-bird promo for the first 200 customers, which includes rebates worth RM8,000 for the B10 Life and RM9,000 for the B10 Design. As for the warranties, Leapmotor Malaysia is offering both the B10 variants with a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty.

Underpinning the same LEAP 3.5 400-volt architecture with a cell-to-battery (CTB) structure as the Leapmotor C10, the new B10 is powered by a single, rear-mounted (RWD) electric motor delivering 218 PS (160 kW) and 240 Nm. This enables the C-segment EV SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in eight seconds flat before hitting the limiter at 170 km/h.

Battery-wise, the base-spec B10 Life is juiced by a smaller 56.2 kWh LFP pack that is good for up to 361 km of WLTP range while accepting both AC 11 kW and DC 140 kW charging methods. The top-spec B10 Design, on the other hand, gets a larger 67.1 kWh LFP unit, granting it a higher WLTP range of 434 km, plus a faster 168 kW DC charging and the same 11 kW AC charging.

As detailed prior, the Leapmotor B10 is positioned as the brand’s new global C-segment EV SUV model, featuring similar design features seen on its larger sibling. Key exterior highlights include slim LED headlights, a grill-less front fascia with a wide lower air intake, ‘Star Ring’ muscular fenders, retractable door handles, ‘Wing Star’ full-width LED taillights, and 18-inch ‘Star Sports’ alloy wheels.

Dimension-wise, the B10 spans 4,515 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, and 1,655 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, putting it on par with the likes of the BYD Atto 3 and Proton e.MAS 7, to name a few. Not to forget, a total of five exterior colourways are available for the B10, namely Metallic Black, Light White, Tundra Grey, Dawn Purple, and the signature Starry Night Blue that is inspired by Van Gogh’s famous artwork, 'Starry Night over the Rhone’.

On-board, the B10 gets a pretty well-equipped and practical cabin setup, with the biggest highlight being its 114.6-inch central infotainment screen powered by the latest Leap OS 4.0 Plus that will include both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity later in Jan 2026. Other cabin amenities primed here include a smaller 8.8-inch digital metre cluster for the driver, a dual 15-watt wireless charging pad, a full panoramic glass roof with a built-in sunshade, ambient lights, OEKO-Tex seat upholstery for the Design variant, and many more.

In terms of practicality, the B10 cabin boasts up to 22 storage spaces, including its sizable 430-litre boot space that can be expanded to 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded, and a 25-litre frunk for additional storage.

On the safety front, the B10 supports up to Level 2 of semi-autonomous driving capabilities, thanks to a slew of ADAS functions like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Centering Control (LCC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELKA), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Brake (AEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Door Opening Warning (DOW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Hands Off Detection (HOD), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Braking (RCTA + RCTB), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Driver Drowsiness Alert Warning (DDAW), Advanced Driver Distraction Warning (ADDW), and many more.
