Hap Seng Star Kinrara Won Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Dealer of The Year 2022 Award

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) celebrated its dealer network recently by hosting the prestigious Dealer of The Year 2022. This is part of the firm’s effort to acknowledge its extensive dealership network of up to 31 authorised dealers nationwide, for providing best customer experience.

Speaking during this prestigious event, MBM CEO and president Sagree Sardien said, “At Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, we place our customers at the heart of everything we do. We are immensely proud of our dealer partners’ unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Congratulations to all the winners of the Dealer of The Year 2022 awards.”

Aside from the coveted Dealer of the Year 2022 grand prize, the awards ceremony comprises of six other categories that showcases the dealerships’ operational excellence in different fields. These included Best in Customer Services, Best in Financial Services, Best in Business Excellence, Best in Sales, Best in Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), as well as Most Improved Dealer.


Taking home the grand prize as Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Dealer of the Year 2022 was Hap Seng Star Kinrara dealership, which excelled across the board to achieve the highest overall score. Commenting on this momentous achievement, Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad group COO Harald Behrend said, “We are honoured to be named the Dealer of the Year 2022 and it is truly a testament to the commitment the team has put in to deliver the best-in-class retail experience to our valued customers.”

“We are proud of what we have accomplished in 2022 and we will continue to put in our best effort for the years ahead,” the Hap Seng boss added.

Besides Hap Seng Star Kinrara, other MBM dealerships have also taken some prizes home. This includes NZ Wheels Bangsar/KL Northeast, who took the crown as MBM’s Most Improved Dealer award, as well as the Best in Financial Service award. Hap Seng Star Melaka, on the other hand, clinched the Best in Sales award, while Cycle & Carriage N-Juru/Bukit Tengah bagged the Best in Business Excellence title home. The award for Best in Customer Service was presented to Hap Seng Star Setia Alam, while Hap Seng Star Kota Kinabalu won the category of Best in Customer Satisfaction Index.
