Passengers planning their upcoming journeys on KTM Komuter and ETS train services now have an economical alternative for travelling to and from train stations through airasia ride, by the airasia Superapp.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) and airasia Superapp formalised their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU was signed by Mohamed Suhaimi Yaacob, Chief Corporate Officer of KTMB, and Lim Chiew Shan, Regional CEO of airasia ride, at KL Sentral today.

To mark the initiation of this partnership, airasia Ride will extend a RM3 discount to KTM passengers for every trip to and from the train station, enabling them to benefit from savings of up to RM6 daily. The campaign would run until August 2024 and KTM passengers can claim this discount by simply inputting the promo code "KTMRIDE" when booking an airasia ride to or from the train station via the airasia Superapp.

Lim Chiew Shan, Regional CEO of airasia ride, expressed, "KTMB has long been a preferred choice for travelers across the Peninsula, and our partnership today opens doors for passengers to travel conveniently and affordably to and from 80 KTM stations located in the Klang Valley and the Northern region.”

Mohamed Suhaimi Yaacob, Chief Corporate Officer of KTMB, added, "KTM users can make use of this limited-time promo code to save up to RM6 on round trips to and from any of the 80 KTM stations, not confined solely to the Klang Valley but also encompassing the Northern region."
