Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition Arrives As Marque’s ICE Sportscar Swansong

This special-edition Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition will be the marque's final ICE sportscar
Making its first appearance today is Jaguar’s final ICE-powered sports car model, touted as the Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition. Its arrival has marked the end of an illustrious 75 years of combustion-engined Jaguar sports cars, as the automaker upshifts its electromobility adoption.
Taking both its name and design inspiration from two ‘Project ZP’ E-Types that raced at Le Mans in the 1960s, the F-Type ZP Edition is based on the F-Type R P575 model, available in both coupe and convertible versions. To make this swansong model more special, Jaguar has employed its SV Bespoke arm to enhance both the outside and the inside of this 150-unit special.

The F-Type ZP Edition will be available in two special colourways – Oulton Blue Gloss or Crystal Grey Gloss
For starters, the F-Type ZP Edition is offered with two colour options – Oulton Blue Gloss or Crystal Grey Gloss – both inspired from its predecessor, the original Jaguar E-Type. Regardless of your paint option, this special F-Type model comes with white-hued hand-painted round decals on its door. Aside from that, its front grille surround has also been painted white, while each of the F-Type ZP Edition rides on exclusive 20-inch wheels with black inserts.

On board, the special Jag comes with two interior colourway options, with the blue-hued car getting a two-tone red-and-black finish, while opting for the grey one grants you with a blue-black combo instead. Aside from that, the Jag’s cabin is laced with a slew of black accents and trims, as well as special ZP Edition badging on the door sills and front dash. There’s also a special plaque that showcases the specific production number between 1 to 150.
Aside from the cosmetic bits, the F-Type ZP Edition retains the same mechanical bits as the R P575 model. Hiding beneath its long front hood is a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 mill that delivers 575 HP and 700 NM to its all four wheels (AWD) via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Pedal to the metal, the F-Type ZP Edition can accelerate from nought to 96 KM/H (60 MPH) in an impressive 3.5 seconds.

Only 150 units of the Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition will be produced, with its pricing has yet to be unveiled
As we mentioned earlier, only 150 units of the F-Type ZP Edition will be produced, with 75 of them being in the coupe form, while the other 75 coming as a topless version – an homage to its long and storied legacy. We’ve been told that 10 of the 150 units will be specially allocated to the UK market, meaning that the rest of the world will be fighting for the remaining 140 units.
Beyond the F-Type nameplate, Jaguar will also retire its remaining ICE powertrains by the end of 2024, as the British marque prepares for an all-electric future, pledging to launch purely electric models from 2025 onwards. This means that the F-Type will retire alongside other ICE-only models like the XE, XF, E-Pace, and F-Pace.
