Newly Launched smart #1 Garners 1,000 Bookings

Since its official debut, the smart #1 has now garnered 1,000 bookings according to smart Malaysia (PRO-NET).
As one of the most hotly anticipated new brands to launch in the local market this year, it is perhaps unsurprising to see how smart Malaysia ((PRO-NET) has now garnered 1,000 bookings in total for the new smart #1 range. At the same time, the first batch of customer cars were also delivered recently.
Launched late last month after months of endless teasers and previews, the smart #1 is available in Malaysia across three variants – Pro, Premium and Brabus. Priced between RM189,000 and RM249,000, the model is also now present at no less than 10 dealerships and roadshow venues nationwide.

Over 60% of initial bookings placed were for the smart #1 Brabus performance flagship (bottom). Two other variants are available, those being rthe baseline Pro (top-left) and mid-spec Premium (top right).
What’s surprising to note is the preference amongst Malaysian buyers for the pricier performance flagship variant that is the smart #1 Brabus. During the model’s official launch, smart Malaysia revealed that over 60% of initial bookings placed were for said range-topping variant priced at RM249,000.
“"The success of smart #1 reflects not only the excellence of our product but also our dedication to providing a seamless and enjoyable ownership experience,” expressed smart Malaysia’s CEO Zhang Qiang. He also noted that both after-sales and delivery efforts are pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction.
“The comprehensive warranty coverage, complimentary packages, and the smartCharge Home Charger offer are a testament to our commitment to customer satisfaction. Delivery is also a pivotal aspect, and our team is diligently working to ensure timely delivery of cars to our valued customers,” adds Zhang.

Tempting price tags aside, smart Malaysia also offers a comprehensive range of after-sales packages. On top of which, early birds are also offered special 'Launch Packages' that includes a free home charger on offer.
As a refresher, smart Malaysia offers all variants of the smart #1 with an 8-year or 200,000 KM EV battery warranty, 8-year or 150,000 KM EV component warranty, a 4-year, unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, 2-year, unlimited mileage spare parts warranty, as well as 24/7 roadside service assistance.
Also, special ‘Launch Packages’ are being offered exclusively to early birds. Offers include complimentary home charger worth RM3,200 with a 2-year warranty, up to RM2,000 worth of complimentary accessories (5 items), as well as complimentary V2L adaptor worth RM800 with a 2-year warranty.
