100 Days of smart Malaysia – 10 Outlets Expanding to 13, More Charging Facilities

smart Malaysia (PRO-NET) is celebrating its first 100 days in the local automotive market today, which coincides with the rare leap year. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the EV brand has highlighted some of its success throughout the months while giving us insights into what to expect in the future.

smart Malaysia is expanding its 10-outlet dealership network to 13 this year.
Currently, smart Malaysia is operating 10 dealerships nationwide, with plans to further expand them to 13 this year. This includes its first-ever outlet in East Malaysia, which is set to be operational sometime this year.

Aside from its dealership network, smart Malaysia is also planning to expand its current charging network to meet the increasing demand for EVs nationwide. With 70% of Malaysia’s charging station data already integrated into the Hello smart app, the firm is looking to collaborate with more key stakeholders in the EV ecosystem to provide smart users with more access to charging facilities across the nation.

The range-topping smart #1 Brabus (left) remains the most popular variant, followed by the mid-spec #1 Premium (right).
As expected, the range-topping smart #1 Brabus remains the most popular variant among fans in Malaysia, with said model garnering over 60% of the booking numbers garnered after its launch last year. Tagged at RM249,000, the top-specced #1 Brabus gets the peppiest dual-motor AWD setup rated at 422 HP (315 kW) and 543 NM, allowing for a quick 0-100 KM/H sprint time of only 3.9 seconds.
Ranked second is the #1 Premium variant, which gets the highest WLTP range of 440 KM thanks to its large 66-kWh NMC battery pack. Priced at RM219,000, this mid-spec model shares the same RWD motor setup as the baseline Pro model, delivering 268 HP (200 kW) and 343 NM.

To provide better engagement with customers, smart Malaysia has also organised several customer-centric events, including the smart Tech Insight Day. This event has been curated specifically to provide existing smart customers with better insights on their #1 EV, covering essential topics such as warranty details, product features, sharing sessions amongst owners, and many more.
Additionally, customers can also use the Hello smart mobile app to access any FAQs and quick tips regarding their #1 EV.

Reflecting on the journey of the past 100 days, smart Malaysia CEO Zhang Qiang commented, "Our progress has been nothing short of remarkable. We've maintained a laser focus on prioritising our customers' needs, ensuring every interaction with our brand is both memorable and positive."
"Innovation and customer-centricity are fundamental to our core values," adds Zhang Qiang. "As we celebrate this milestone, our commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence and delivering exceptional products and services to our customers remains unwavering,” he added.

To wrap up the 100-day celebration, smart Malaysia has published a special video that depicts the everyday life of our ever-committed Sales Specialist. You can check out this video on smart Malaysia’s official social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
