Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Golf at VPCM’s Golf Fan Fest 2024, set to take place on Aug 24.
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will be making a bid for the Malaysia Book of Records as it hosts what could be the largest gathering of Volkswagen Golf owners and enthusiasts in the country, the 2024 Golf Fan Fest. What’s special about this year’s Golf Fan Fest is that it will be held in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Golf nameplate.

Set to take place on August 24 at the renowned Sepang International Circuit, this year’s Golf Fan Fest will include tons of fun activities, aside from what’s planned to be the largest Golf gathering in Malaysia. Among the driving-related activities participants can anticipate are gymkhana driving challenge competitions, drift taxi rides, track sessions with the new Golf R, and more.

Visitors to the Golf Fan Fest 2024 can also learn about the long history of the Golf nameplate that spans over five decades through a special exhibition on the evolution of this beloved nameplate, starting with the first-gen model until the latest iteration today. Not to mention, test drives on the latest Golf and other Volkswagen models by VPCM, along with tech talks and workshops covering various aspects of Golf ownership, will also be held at this festival.
As per any previous Golf Fan Fests, this year’s edition will also feature Volkswagen’s Biggest Golf Fan contest, where eight finalists selected via a social media campaign will compete for the grand prize and title of the country's biggest Golf fan during the celebrations.

The Golf is a Volkswagen icon that needs no introduction. With more than 37 million vehicles delivered in over 70 countries, it is one of the most successful cars ever produced, and so it is only fitting that the 50th anniversary of such a well-loved icon is celebrated with Volkswagen fans and friends, near and far.
The Golf Fan Fest 2024 is slated to take place on Aug 24 at the Sepang International Circuit, from 11 AM to 8 PM. For the latest programme line-up and registration details for the upcoming Golf Fan Fest 2024, you can visit Volkswagen Malaysia’s official website.
