GWM Haval H6 HEV Finally Open For Booking, Priced Under RM145K

After a little over a year since the initial tease in May 2023 during the Malaysia Autoshow, GWM’s C-segment SUV, the Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), is finally officially open for booking.
However, from the image shared by GWM Malaysia, it appears that Malaysia will be getting the same model shown in the autoshow instead of the latest facelifted variant that was launched in China earlier this year.

While the exact selling price has yet to be announced, GWM Malaysia promises that the Premium Ultra variant will be priced below RM 145,000, excluding insurance.
Additionally, early bird buyers who place their booking before the official launch will receive a 10-year or 1,000,000 KM engine warranty, as well as an 8-year or 1,000,000 KM HEV system warranty, which includes coverage for the Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), High Voltage Battery & Cable, and Transmission Control Unit.

Take note, these early bird warranties are non-transferable and locked to the first registered owner. Moreover, all early bird buyers will be entitled to RM 3,000 in exclusive value with a RM 1,000 booking fee.
According to Managing Director of GWM Malaysia, Cui Anqi, “GWM has always strived to introduce highly acclaimed and innovative vehicles based on local demands and needs.” He further added, “The GWM HAVAL H6 HEV will be another fantastic SUV choice among Malaysians, offering state-of-the-art technology and practical features.”

The H6 HEV utilises a series-parallel hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo engine paired with a single electric motor. Together, they produce segment-leading outputs of 240 HP and 530 NM, delivering not only power but also a smooth driving experience.
Built on GWM’s proprietary LEMON platform, the H6 HEV benefits from enhanced handling and stability, ample legroom, spacious boot space, and ventilated seats for the driver and front passenger. Additionally, the Level 2 ADAS system (Advanced Driver Assistance System) further enhances both convenience and driving safety.

The Haval H6 HEV has been the ‘Best-selling SUV Brand in China’ for 12 consecutive years, with over 4 million global sales. This family-oriented mid-size SUV has proven its reliability and popularity worldwide.
Notably, the H6 HEV will be GWM Malaysia’s first localised (CKD) vehicle assembled by partners EPMB, and is now available for viewing in all GWM showrooms across Malaysia or their roadshow as listed in the diagram below.
