ChargeSini 60 kW DCFC At Sogo KL - RM1.39/kWh
ChargeSini has launched its newest EV charging station at the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s city centre, located at the iconic Sogo Kuala Lumpur. This station, developed in collaboration with Edotco, offers drivers convenient access to charging facilities while they shop, dine, or visit the various government departments nearby.
Situated at the B1 parking level near the Jalan Raja Laut exit at Pillar 1A in the Pink Zone, the Sogo Kuala Lumpur station is equipped with a 60kW SangiTech DC charger featuring two CCS2 nozzles. If both nozzles are in use, the charger splits its power, delivering 30kW to each vehicle, as reported on PlugShare.
The station is open during Sogo’s operating hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Parking fees start at RM4 for the first hour, with RM3 charged for each additional hour.
Charging costs at this station are set at RM1.39 per kWh, with a minimum fee of RM5. Users have a 15-minute grace period after charging to move their vehicles; an idle fee of RM2 per 5-minute block is applied if they do not vacate the space. Parking barriers prevent non-EV vehicles from blocking the charging spots (“ICEing”) and can be lowered only through the ChargeSini app.
ChargeSini’s latest installation at Sogo Kuala Lumpur provides urban EV drivers with easy access to charging in the city centre while playing a part in expanding Malaysia’s growing EV infrastructure.
According to data from Agmo’s hub, ChargeSini now operates over 902 charging points at 298 stations across Malaysia, making it the country’s largest charge point operator (CPO) by plug count.
