ChargeSini NU Empire Mall Subang DCFC Coming Soon - 2 x 60kW @ RM1.39/kWh
ChargeSini will soon fire-up its latest EV charging station at the NU Empire Shopping Mall, conveniently located in the heart of Subang Jaya. This new addition provides a much-needed charging option for EV owners in the area, eliminating the need to travel to Glenmarie or other farther locations like the Crocodile Farm.
While charging their vehicles, users can take advantage of the mall’s amenities, which includes getting some grocery shopping done at Jaya Grocers or dining at one of the many F&B outlets located on the same floor as the charging station.
Based on the data pulled from Agmo’s hub, ChargeSini now operates over 870 charging points across 283 stations nationwide making them the largest charge point operator (CPO) at this moment in terms of plug count roll-out.
The NU Empire ChargeSini charging station is located at the Lower Ground Level, near Pillar A15, close to the Nyonya Colours restaurant. This station will house two (2) SangiTech 60kW DC chargers, both primed with dual CCS2 nozzles. According to PlugShare, if both nozzles are in use, the system splits its power, delivering 30 kW to each vehicle.
The station also adheres to the latest EVCB regulations set by PLANMalaysia and the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM), which emphasise proper spacing between charging bays and public parking areas. The station is currently awaiting its ST Licence before it can be operational.
Charging rates for this location, as shown on the ChargeSini app, are RM1.39 per kWh, with a minimum charging fee of RM5. Users also benefit from a 15-minute grace period after charging is complete to relocate their vehicles. Failure to do so will result in an idle fee of RM2 for every 5-minute block thereafter. The parking fee levied at this location is RM3 for the first hours followed by RM1 for every subsequent hour.
In keeping with ChargeSini's standard setup, all charging bays are equipped with automated parking barriers to prevent non-electric vehicles from occupying the spaces ("ICEing"). These barriers can only be lowered via the ChargeSini app.
