Lotus Cars Malaysia have announced the availability of the revised 2026 Lotus Emeya 'hyper-GT' locally.

Lotus Cars Malaysia revealed earlier today that it has opened up the order books for the updated 2026 Lotus Emeya locally. The revamped 2026 model year version of the Geely-owned British sportscar marque’s EV spots saloon sees five variants available.

The range consists of three newly renamed ‘600’ variants plus two new ‘900’ variants, with said digits denoting their respective power outputs. Here’s a quick breakdown of what the marque presents as an all-electric ‘hyper-GT’ that underpins the Geely EPA platform.

The 600 series consist of a ‘base’ 600 guise, followed by a 600 GT SE and 600 GT Sport SE trimlines slotted above. The higher-end 900 series on the other hand, is offered in either 900 Sport or 900 Sport Carbon guises instead.

Based on the Geely EPA platform, three 600 Series and two 900 Series variants are on offer.

All share the same dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setups, a sizeable 102 kWh battery pack, as well as an 800-volt EV architecture that enables all to draw in both 22 kW AC and up to 420 kW DC fast-charging inputs.

In the 600 series, their powertrains put out a claimed 603 HP and 710 NM to enable 0-100 KM/H sprints in just 4.15 secs plus an electronically capped 250 KM/H V-Max. These variants also promises a WLTP-rated maximum range of 610 KM.

the 900 series ups the ante to 905 HP and 985 NM, resulting in quicker 2.78 secs century sprints and a sightly higher V-Max of 256 KM/H. Naturally, added power and speed comes as the expense of range, and these variants make do with just 485 KM (WLTP).

Thanks to it 800-volt architecture, all variants accept 22 kW and up to 420 kW DC fast-charging inputs, and the most efficient guise offers up to 610 KM of WLTP-rated range.

As standard, the base Emeya 600 already comes primed with key features such as active air suspension paired with continuous damping control (CDC) tech, brake-applied torque vectoring, LED matric headlamps, plus 20-inch rolling stock.

On board, the Emeya 600 sees its cabin is also decked out with a top-shelf KEF Premium 15-speaker audio suite, massive 29-inch infotainment touchscreen, not forgetting automatic quad-zone climare control plus ‘LotusWear Performance’ fabric upholstery.

The peppiest of the lot are both the Emeya 900 variants, which offers up to 905 HP and 985 NM to enable 0-100 KM/H dashes in 2.78 secs.

The kit list in the Emeya 600 GT SE sees additions like autonomous parking assist and remote parking assist, beefier six-piston brake calipers, intelligent glass roof, hands-free powered tailgate, trick configurable cabin ambient lighting, and larger 21-inch wheels.

With the Emeya 600 GT Sport SE, both active anti-roll bar and active rear-wheel-steering (RWS) are added under the Lotus Dynamic Pack, as well as active aerodynamics (rear spoiler, diffuser and air dam), massaging and ventilated front seats, and soft-close doors.

Besides output figures, equipment levels also vary from variant to variant. Highlights include active aero, the Lotus Dynamic Pack, 15-speaker KEF Premium audio, and more.

Moving up to the Emeya 900 Sport, it firstly gains a two-speed transmission for its driveline, followed by the Lotus Dynamic Pack, and an active rear spoiler. On board, it also boasts a Quartz-themed LotusWear Performance fabric upholstery.

Lastly, the range-topping Emeya 900 Sport Carbon is easily distinguished by its adoption of the extended carbon packs for both its exterior and interior. This brings various exterior and interior panels plus décor made from – you guessed it – lightweight carbon fibre.

Besides that, this range-topper also mirrors the aforementioned Emeya 600 GT Sport SE through the adoption of both a full active aero package, not forgetting massaging and ventilated front seats brimmed aboard its cabin.

Bookings are now opened locally where prices start from RM459,000 onwards. Lotus Cars Malaysia adds deliveries will commence from Sept onwards too.

Lastly, price. Naturally, this Lotus-badged electric sports saloon is no bargain. Things start at RM459,000 for the base Emeya 600, RM519,000 for the Emeya 600 GT SE, and RM599,000 for the Emeya 600 Sport SE.

The Emeya 900 Sport and Emeya 900 Sport Carbon range-toppers, on the other hand, instead command RM699,000 and RM729,000 respectively.

All variants of the refreshed 2026 Lotus Emeya ‘hyper-GT’ are now opened for bookings at Lotus Cars Malaysia’s showrooms located in Glenmarie, Pavilion Damansara Heights and Penang. The firm adds deliveries will also commence as early as Sept too.
