August Sales Drive UMW Toyota Past 62,000 Units Year-to-Date
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) delivered 9,083 vehicles in August, bringing its year-to-date total to 62,246 units, signalling continued strong demand for Toyota cars in Malaysia.
The company highlighted that over the past decade, from 2015 to August 2025, Toyota has sold 859,865 vehicles in Malaysia, underscoring its enduring popularity in the local market.

UMWT President Datuk Ravindran K said the focus is on more than just cars.
“For decades, Malaysians have placed their trust in Toyota. That trust continues to inspire us. This lasting bond reflects our commitment to mobility for all and is how we continue to move your world

"It is this same spirit of unity and progress that we proudly celebrate together with the nation this Merdeka,” he said.
In line with the Merdeka celebrations, UMWT is rolling out special promotions throughout September, with savings of up to RM5,000 on selected models and additional deals available at showrooms nationwide.
