PRIDE, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, has teamed up with logistics provider SPX Express, a subsidiary of Shopee Express to introduce smart lockers at five selected LRT stations in the Klang Valley.
The initiative allows passengers to pick up their parcels through self-service lockers, adding convenience to their daily travel experience.
PRIDE CEO Syed Redza Algadrie said the move is part of a new approach to make LRT stations more than just transit hubs. He stressed that the goal is to create smart lifestyle solutions that are user-friendly and enhance passenger convenience.

Meanwhile, SPX Express Chief Cheah Lee Sun highlighted that the lockers give passengers greater freedom to manage their purchases according to their own schedules. He said the service is designed to make parcel delivery easier, more flexible and efficient.
In the pilot phase, the smart lockers will be installed at five key locations: LRT Lembah Subang, Taman Melati, Bangsar, Ampang Park and Sentul Timur. These stations were selected due to their high passenger volume and strong connectivity.

Each locker is fully automated, monitored by 24-hour CCTV and accessible throughout station operating hours. With 284 compartments of various sizes, the lockers can store a wide range of items, from small personal care products to larger parcels such as electronic appliances.
PRIDE plans to expand the initiative to more LRT stations in the future. The effort is in line with the company’s commitment to strengthen public transport as a modern hub that supports the daily lives of Malaysians.
