Radical Audi Concept C Previews Possible TT ‘Rebirth’ & Boxster EV Twin
Revealed ahead of next week's IAA Mobility 2025 show, the new Audi Concept C sees the four-ringed marque introduce some of its new design touches.

Ahead of next week’s IAA Mobility 2025 show in Munich, Audi has unwrapped its latest concept metal bound for which. Pictured is the new Audi Concept C and, as you can guess, it previews a future production model for the four-ringed marque.
Overall, the Concept C sees Audi take on a bold, minimalist approach whilst also taking inspiration from its glorious past, namely the legendary Auto Union Type C racecar. Notably, the Concept C also bears the all-new “Audi brand face.”
Up front, the Concept C presents the all-new "Audi brand face" featuring a rectangular grille, vertical 'intakes', and distinct four-element headlights.

The latter brings a rectangular grille with a portrait orientation, and it’s flanked by angular accents that double up as air channels for vertical curtains. Accompanying which too are distinct new four-element headlights – a new signature for Audi.
Moving over to the rear and the Audi Concept C boasts a steeply-raked rear windscreen to match its streamlined bodywork that features taut surfaces, sharp lines, plus a pronounced ‘shoulder’ running the entire length of the concept.

Notably, the Audi Concept C stands as the first from the marque to adopt a retractable hard top (RHT) setup, and it operates in similar fashion as the Porsche 911 Targa.
Note the concept's absent rear window, indicating its use of a rear view camera instead. Promiment here too are its new four-element taillight cluster and wide rear diffuser element.

Aerodynamic wheels and sporty side skirts aside, there’s a retractable hard top (RHT) too – a first for any Audi, regardless of status as concept or production offering. Featuring two different sections, the way it operates also mirrors the Porsche 911 Targa.
At the rear, the concept’s absent rear window signals its adoption of a rear camera instead. Present here though is a distinct and rather slim four-element taillights cluster plus a wide rear diffuser element that appears integrated into the rear bumper.

Audi elected to style the Concept C with a minimalist look and feel to match its exterior. Note that the large 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment can fold away to minimise distractions.

On board, Audi also styled the Concept C with an ‘industrial’ minimalist look. Visible here is a massive digital instrument panel, but what isn’t is a sizeable 10.4-inch infotainment that’s folded away when not needed to minimise distractions.
Otherwise, you’ll find digital climate controls, anodised aluminium accents and ambient lighting. What may not sit well with most is the absence of leather upholstery as Audi elected for cloth in its stead.
Audi didn't dish out technical details, but did confirm instead that the Concept C stands as a "concrete preview of a production vehcile," likely one that's arriving in 2027.

As this is a ‘styling and design’ concept, Audi did not dish out much in terms of mechanical and technical details. Instead, the Ingolstadt-rooted four-ringed marque confirmed it as a “concrete preview of a production vehicle” arriving in 2027.
Obviously, the Audi Concept C is sparking heavy speculations online about succeeding the brand’s signature TT sports coupe, and its ‘rebirth’ as an ell-electric sportscar too, but there’s more.
Also certain is the fact that the eventual production version of this concept will also stand as a 'twin' to the upcoming Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster EV.

Sources online are also alluding that the Concept C previews what’s essentially a twin to the upcoming Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster EV. Whether it will use the TT nameplate or not remains to be seen still.
Either way, this is an exciting ‘preview’ of what’s to come from Audi in the coming years. Wouldn’t you agree, folks?
