Another day, another Japanese car brand offering discounts and rebates for its models, and this time it’s Honda Malaysia. In conjunction with its 25th anniversary this year, the company is offering massive rebates and additional promotions for *almost* all of its models.

Honda Malaysia’s 25th anniversary celebration sees the newly launched e:N1 EV getting a massive RM34,000 rebate.

From Honda Malaysia’s current product roster, it’s the new Honda e:N1 EV—the company’s first fully electric model—that gets the biggest rebate. Just months after making its local debut, this EV SUV is now RM34,000 cheaper than its original launch price, thus bringing it down to just RM115,900.

With this massive rebate, the e:N1 is now closer to its more popular Chinese-origin rivals, such as the Proton e.MAS 7 (from RM105,800), the BYD Atto 3 Ultra (RM123,800), and many more. That said, the H-branded EV still has a lot of catching up to do with its rivals, as recent data from data.gov.my shows that only 39 units were sold as of August 2025.

Basically a Honda HR-V with an all-electric powertrain setup, the e:N1 arrives as a fully imported (CBU) offering for now, and only one variant is available for sale. Powering this EV SUV is a single FWD motor rated at 201 hp (150 kW) and 310 Nm that allows a century sprint time of 7.7 seconds and a 160 km/h V-max.

Juicing the e:N1 is a 68.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is good for up to 412 km of WLTP range, Honda claims. Said battery can be replenished by either an 11 kW AC charge or a faster 78 kW DC charge that sees a 10-80% charge done in 45 minutes.

Besides the e:N1, other Honda models getting massive rebates from this promotion include the Honda CR-V at up to RM17,000, the Civic, City, and WR-V at up to RM8,000, and the City Hatchback and HR-V at up to RM4,000 and RM6,000, respectively.

On top of those rebates, Honda Malaysia is also giving additional rewards for this campaign, including an additional rebate worth up to RM2,000 or service vouchers for existing Honda owners, their family members, and even Honda motorcycle owners. Next is the Upgrader Programme, which adds an additional RM1,500 rebate or service vouchers when purchasing the City or WR-V, applicable to all customers.

Last but not least is the special programme for government servants, where they are entitled to an additional RM1,500 rebate when purchasing the City, Civic, or HR-V, valid from Oct 1 to Dec 31, 2025.
