If you’re heading out from Kuala Lumpur or Selangor via the Gombak Toll Plaza, here’s when it’s best to travel.

Going to Pahang, aim for 12PM to 4PM or 8PM to 11PM. Travelling to Terengganu, the smoother windows are 9AM to 12PM or 8PM to 11PM, while Kelantan drivers should consider 6AM to 9AM or 5PM to 11PM. For those who don’t mind driving late, the midnight to 6AM slots on both days are also less crowded.

For trips back to Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, from Pahang go between 7AM and 10AM or 7PM and 11PM, from Terengganu via Jabor Toll Plaza go between 10AM and 1PM or 8PM and 11PM, from Kelantan via Bentong Toll Plaza go between 4PM and 8PM or 9PM and 12AM.

If you’re taking an express bus to the East Coast, travel between 9:30AM to 12PM or 9:30PM to 12AM is recommended. Light vehicle drivers are advised to avoid the Gombak Toll Plaza during these periods to help reduce congestion.
