New Alfa Romeo Giulia & Stelvio QV ‘Collezione’ Limited-Run Special Bows
Alfa Romeo just treated both its staple Giulia sport saloon and Stelvio crossover SUV twin with a new limited-run Collezione edition special.

Stellantis-owned Alfa Romeo recently introduced a new exclusive and limited-run edition of fits signature Giulia sport saloon and its lifted Stelvio crossover SUV twin. Christened as the ‘Collezione’ edition, both are based on the Quadrifoglio (QV) variant.
Both are billed by the Italian automaker as “global special editions”, and they celebrate the QV badge itself, which was first used on the 1923 RL racecar. Said badge and name then later graced road-going models starting in 1963.

Firstly, both specials rock unique special red exterior paintwork inspired by the 33 Stradale, though the scarlet hue is darker in the Giulia sport saloon.

Visually, the Collezione-treated Giulia and Stelvio wear unique ‘Rosso Collezione’ exterior paint inspired by the 33 Stradale. In the Giulia, this scarlet hue is slightly darker versus the what its stilted twin the Stelvio wears.
Other touches include carbon fibre side mirror caps and roof. Shared across both models too are dark-coloured rolling stock that hides beefy carbon ceramic brakes with burnished anodised calipers sporting red Alfa Romeo badges.

other notable touches include dark-coloured wheels, special carbon ceramic brakes with anodised calipers, carbon fibre roof and Akrapovič sports exhaust systems.

Additionally, Alfa Romeo enthusiasts – known as Alfisti – will be chuffed to also see both models getting primed with a sports exhaust systems supplied by Slovenian specialists Akrapovič that boasts carbon fibre accents.
On board, the Collezione treatment brings a carbon fibre-shelled Sparco front seats set wrapped in Alcantara with red contrast stitching. Also embroided in the headrests are the unit numbering to denote this special’s status as a numbered special.

The treatment on board is equally subtle, but you will find lots of carbon fibre, special Sparco front seats, and headrests embroidery denoting unit numbers.

Apart from that comes a slew of exclusive carbon fibre cabin trimmings on top of an arguably exquisite cabin that’s wrapped in fine Italian leather upholstery. Overall, the aesthetic treatment inside and our are subtle, but arguably tasty to say the least.
Mechanically, both Giulia and Stelvio QV Collezione specials employ the regular QV performance range-topper’s 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo heart that puts out 513 hp and 600 Nm. For reference, this mill allowed the standard Giulia QV to despatch 0-100 KM/H in just 3.9 secs.
Though billed as "global specials", Alfa Romeo will instead only offer the Collezione special across China, Japan, Europe and the Middle East. Only 63 units will be built too.

Though Alfa Romeo billed these as ‘global specials’ mentioned, both the Giulia and Stelvio QV Collezione will only be marketed across China, Japan, Europe and the Middle East. Perhaps the planned limited-run of just 63 units has something to do with this.
The Alfa Romeo brand was recently resurrected locally with the Veloce variants of the Giulia and Stelvio previewed by new 'boutique' importers and distributors DLSB Partners.

Closer to home, the chances of one of these Collezione specials making landfall appears slim – newly appointed ‘boutique’ importers and distributors DLSB Partners (Atlantis Motor Group) have no plans yet to even introduce the regular QV variants of both.
Instead, the firm recently elected to resurrect the brand locally with the mid-range Veloce variants of both the Giulia and Stelvio. The firm also plans to expand further by introducing the Junior (Milano) and Tonale SUV models later on.
