BYD Atto 3 Gains New Atlantis Grey Hue, Now Offered At RM105,800 Only

BYD Cars Malaysia have readied a new 'Atlantis Grey' exterior paint choice for its popular Atto 3 EV C-SUV offering.

Heads up for prospecting buyers eyeing up the BYD Atto 3 EV C-SUV. Earlier today, the marque announced via Facebook of a newly added exterior paintjob option plus a special limited-time offer that sees said EV crossover command a very tempting promotional price tag.

Firstly, there’s now a new ‘Atlantis Grey’ exterior paintjob option, which joins the model’s existing three hues – Ski White, Harbour Grey and Cosmos Black. This new shade of grey is also offered in the Seal, Sealion 7 and Dolphin, models, and it sports a slight blue tinge.

Secondly, it seems the Chinese NEV-making giant has a surplus of ‘tax-free stock’ to clear, though the marque claims there’s a ‘limited’ number to which. These are likely units imported last year (2025) just before the CBU tax incentive’s deadline of Dec 28.

In this tax-free form, there’s also a special promotional price of RM105,800 each (excluding insurance). For reference, the updated 2025MY Atto3 Ultra variant that launched in March 2025 was initially priced at RM123,800 (RRP, excluding rebates).

The model year refresh saw the popular Atto 3 model gain new 18-inch rolling stock, slightly redesigned headlamps, new black lower trim replacing silver ones, new black cabin upholstery with yellow contrast, ventilated seats plus NFC digital key function.

The 2025MY refresh brought a slew of aesthetic tweaks inside and out.

Mechanically, the Atto 3 retained its familiar front e-motor outputting 204 PS and 310 Nm to drive its front wheels. Juiced by the marque’s signature 60.48 kWh ‘Blade’ LFP battery pack, it yields a claimed maximum range of 420 KM (WLTP).

As for charging speeds, these also remained unchanged from before, and it encompasses both 7 kW AC and up to 88 kW DC charging abilities.
