- Technical Issues, 48 Lamborghini Urus Recalled
A recall has been announced by Lamborghini for its 2022 Urus Super SUV in the United States and Canada, due to some technical issues.
The matter revolves around the Urus’ infotainment and rear-view camera system, and has affected 48 units of the Super SUV.
Notably, it stems from the supplier as some of the infotainment units produced use too high a voltage input, resulting in an error in one of the system’s voltage regulators.
Lamborghini explained, when the vehicle system is turned off, the error will cause damage to various components in the control unit, e.g., the screen display and rear-view camera.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this is in violation of rule number 111 of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard, which is rear vision.
That said, all of the Lamborghini Urus units affected are the ones manufactured between 16 and 23 September, 2021.
