- Lego Speed Champions Series See Four New Cars Added For 2023
Heads up Lego fans, the Danish buildable brick toy brand sees its famed Speed Champions series grow larger for 2023 with four new licensed additions. These include both racecars and hypercars from renowned brands such as Porsche, Pagani, McLaren, and Ferrari.
Marking its first ever appearance in Lego brick form is Italian hypercar tailors Pagani. The firm has licensed its latest 852 HP V12-engined hypercar, the Utopia, into the 2023 Lego Speed Champions range as a 249-piece set complete with a minifigure dressed in a Pagani-branded race overalls.
Next, Ferrari continues its relationship with the Lego brand this year and sees its 812 Competizione V12 hypercar added into the Speed Champions series for 2023. Following that comes Porsche, and the German sportscar marque’s new 963 LMDh Le Mans racecar has been added into the series.
Lastly, British marque McLaren sees a two-car set added featuring two of its Ultimate Series cars for the first time. They are the Solus GT track-only single-seat hypercar, and the brand’s legendary F1 LM. The latter even gets dressed in its signature ‘Papaya Orange’ hue in this latest Lego set too.
Prices for each set remain unconfirmed for now, but all four sets will reportedly be released from March onwards.
