- Persona Energy Signs MOU For New TTAP Bosch Xcelerator Program
A small signing ceremony was held on Saturday morning between Jazeman's Persona Energy and Bosch Engineering Japan to start a new TTAP Bosch Xcelerator program.

For local racing ace Jazeman Jaafar, last weekend’s Super GT Malaysia 2025 Festival wasn’t just about his on-track exploits as a special wildcard driver. Amid which, the 32-year-old racer-turned-entrepreneur also found time to forge yet another new path for his TTAP initiative.
As a refresher, TTAP – short for Technology Transfer Apprenticeship Program – is a motorsports-focused engineering talent development initiative founded and spearheaded by Jazeman through his Persona Energy Sdn Bhd consultancy firm where he serves as executive director.

During Super GT last weekend, a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) was inked between Persona Energy and Bosch Engineering Japan. Through which, both parties have agreed to launch a new TTAP Bosch Xcelerator program.
Present for the signing ceremony held on Saturday morning in the Earl Bamber Motorsport (EBM) pit garage at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (SIC) were both Jazeman representing Persona Energy and John Plackmann, managing director of Bosch Engineering Japan.

“The collaboration with Bosch Engineering Japan elevates TTAP to a new level, enabling us to align educational experiences with the real-world demands of global motorsport. Combined with our existing partnerships, we’re building a truly international bridge for ASEAN talent,” said Jazeman after the signing ceremony concluded Saturday morning.
Positioned as a catalyst for ASEAN’s motorsport and automotive engineering ecosystem, TTAP Bosch Xcelerator program aims to produce globally competitive professionals, and contribute meaningfully to international race teams and the broader mobility sector.

Participants will learn directly from championship-winning engineers, team principals, and expert race mechanics, under the mentorship of Jazeman.
"Our partnership with Persona Energy underscores Bosch’s long-term commitment to Malaysia — not only in advancing future mobility solutions, but also in nurturing local talent with the skills and experience needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving automotive landscape," adds Plackmann.

Bosch Engineering is set to bring world-class engineering expertise to the program. Bosch Motorsport, on the other hand, is part of Bosch Engineering GmbH. It contributes race-proven technologies, empowering participants with decades of expertise in cutting-edge systems trusted at the pinnacle of motorsport competition.
Prior to this, the TTAP initiative had already stablished partnerships with Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific and the Raja Muda of Selangor Foundation (Yayasan RMS) through its involvement in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, and its past work in nurturing talent within the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
