- Porsche, Smeg Brings Racing Spirit Into The Kitchen
Porsche and Smeg have teamed up for a limited-edition collection that brings racetrack precision to the kitchen counter, blending German engineering with Italian design.
At the centre of the collaboration is the 917 Salzburg Collection, a nod to Porsche’s first Le Mans win in 1970. The standout piece, the Fridge 917 Salzburg, Porsche x Smeg, comes in the car’s signature red-and-white livery, complete with the number 23 racing decal.
Only 1,970 units will be made, each finished with black matte handles and design details inspired by Porsche’s unmistakable aesthetic.
Matching the fridge is the Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg, also limited to 1,970 units.
The collection also introduces a more understated palette in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic, colours familiar to Porsche fans and now reimagined across Smeg’s classic FAB28 fridge, kettle, toaster, and blender.
Each carries subtle Porsche-inspired touches with matte trims, clean lines, and minimalist striping that tie the collection together with quiet sophistication.
“At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared philosophy to craft objects that are not only functional but also emotionally resonant,” said Stefan Büscher, CEO of Porsche Lifestyle Group.
The Porsche x Smeg Collection officially launches on October 15, 2025, available at Smeg flagship stores, selected Porsche Design Stores, and both brands’ online platforms.
