- Honda CR-V Dual-Tone Edition Announced – 300 Units, From RM169,900
Honda Malaysia just announced the availability of the CR-V Dual-Tone Edition. This special commemorates the firm's 25th anniversary.

To commemorate its landmark 25th anniversary, Honda Malaysia has announced a limited run ‘Dual-Tone’ special series for its best-selling CR-V nameplate. This special is offered on the crossover SUV’s E and V variants specifically.
These special sees two exterior paintwork choices offered – Ignite Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. As the name suggests, both are offset by a contrasting shade of black. The latter is applied to the roof, window pillar, side mirror caps, main grille, lower grille, and skirting.
This, according to Honda Malaysia, brings an “upgraded presence” and stance to the locally assembled (CKD) sixth-gen CR-V, further strengthening its “well-rounded appeal” as well. Apart from this special exterior colourway treatment, there are no other changes to report.
Underneath, the CR-V Dual-Tone is based on the E and V variants, which harness the 1.5-litre 4-cyl VTEC Turbo petrol mill plus a CVT automatic box.

Mechanically, the sixth-gen CR-V in E and V guises, both launched back in Dec 2023, harnesses a 1.5-litre 4-cyl VTEC Turbo petrol powerplant outputting 193 PS and 243 Nm. Said mill is paired with a CVT automatic box, but only the V variant benefits with all-wheel-drive (AWD) instead of a front-wheel-drive (FWD) setup primed in the E variant.
Altogether, said setup boasts a claimed fuel economy average ranging between 7.0 and 7.5 litres/100 KM.

Kit and features list mirror what's seen in the regular E and V variants, which includes the Honda Sensing ADAS suite too. (Note: e:HEV RS variant pictured for illustration).

In terms of kit, both guises retain what’s brimmed in the regular E and V variant – 18-inch rolling stock included. Shared too is the Honda Sensing ADAS suite that brings nine active safety features on top of the usual Honda LaneWatch and 360-degree parking camera suites.
As for availability and price, Honda Malaysia states that just 300 units of the CR-V Dual-Tone Edition will be available for keen buyers tagged at RM169,900 (E) and RM181,900 (V) sans insurance costs.
To date, Honda Malaysia has shifted over 11,400 units of the current sixth-gen CR-V, which is locally assembled by the firm in Pagoh, Melaka.

Included in said prices is a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty coverage, as well as Honda Malaysia’s usual five times free labour service package within 5 years or 100,000 KM.
To date, Honda Malaysia notes that close to 149,000 units of the CR-V model have rolled off its assembly line in Pagoh, Melaka since its CKD operations commenced in 2003. This latest-gen model accounts for 11,300 units shifted since launch, commanding a 36% market share in the local Mid-Size SUV segment too.
