Proton e.MAS 7 Sales Charges Past 7,400 Units, Over 10,000 e.MAS 5 Bookings Placed
The Proton e.MAS EV sub-brand led by PRO-NET is enjoying charged sales and bookings of late.

As noted prior, national automaker Proton continues to see its Proton New Energy & Technology (PRO-NET) arm lead the EV market segment charged by strong sales of the Proton e.MAS EV sub-brand.
Much of this stems from Proton e.MAS 7 EV C-SUV sales, which has reached a total of 7,413 units as of end of Oct 2025. From which 6,954 units were shifted locally, whilst the remaining 459 units from the total mentioned were delivered to overseas markets.
Altogether, the effort continues to see the e.MAS 7 stands as Malaysia’s Number 1 best-selling EV model for 10 consecutive months. Of course, that’s not all.
Sales of the e.MAS 7 EV C-SUV continues to climb, reaching a total of 7,413 units thus far, with 6,954 units from which delivered nationwide.

Besides the e.MAS 7, PRO-NET is also raking in early success through the recently launched Proton e.MAS 5 entry-level EV hatch. Since its official launch at the end of Oct, PRO-NET has received over 10,000 bookings for the e.MAS 5 nationwide.
“We are truly humbled by the continued support Malaysians have shown towards both the Proton e.MAS 7 and now, the Proton e.MAS 5 as well,” expressed Zhang Jiang, CEO of PRO-NET.
The exec adds that the subsidiary will continue to uphold its “responsibility” towards “making electric mobility more accessible and reliable” to all Malaysians.
Of late, PRO-NET is also recording highly charged booking figures for the e.MAS 5 entry-level EV hatchback launched less than a fortnight ago.

Regarding the e.MAS 5 model’s high bookings charted in a rapidly short timeline, PRO-NET touts dealer insights indicating that the majority of its customers are working professionals seeking to adopt it as their primary daily driver.
The subsidiary even notes many of these buyers are capitalising on an additional RM1,000 rebate for purchasing the EV hatch through its Power Trade-In programme – a sizeable number of these buyers are in fact trading-in their existing cars for the e.MAS 5.
Concurrently, dealer insights further touted by PRO-NET further indicates a significant number of buyers acquiring the e.MAS 5 as a secondary household runabout. Moreover, the firm also noted a “growing number” of first-time car buyers that are drawn by the new EV hatch.

PRO-NET emphasises further that the latter is also a reflection of the new generation of car buyers in Malaysia that prioritises practical, low-cost and sustainable mobility.
As a refresher, the Proton e.MAS 5 was launched just about a fortnight ago priced at RM59,800 (Prime) and RM72,800 (Premium) initially. However, an on-going rebate of RM3,000 lowers those figures down to RM56,800 and RM69,800 respectively until Dec 31.
