This Hyundai Staria Load Premium Edition Is One Posh Work Van

What you see here is in fact a work van (or panel van to us Malaysians) of the wildly designed Hyundai Staria MPV that was just announced in Australia earlier this week. Simply put, this is perhaps the most luxurious work van on sale Down Under.
The Premium Edition pictured is the latest addition to this commercial panel version of Hyundai’s stylish 7- and 10-seat MPV model. It was recently announced by Hyundai Australia following rising demands for such a van from its customers in said market.

Aptly, this utilitarian variant of the Staria makes do without side windows or even powered sliding doors on each side but it does feature a powered tailgate plus 17-inch alloy wheels shod in grippier Kumho tyres instead of Nexen-sourced ones seen in lower grade versions.
Apart from that, much of the high-end cues seen in its people-mover form remains, those being its distinct bi-LED headlights, an LED daytime-running light strip, and LED tail-lights.

In this new Load Premium form, the Staria only offers seating for two – a driver and a passenger – whilst its rear is devoid of any seats in favour of offering a large cargo bed instead, thus making it perfect for lugging about large, heavy cargoes or tools.
Utilitarian bits aside, premium amenities primed on board include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, as well as keyless entry and ignition – key features absent in the lower grade Staria Load models, in fact.
Not only the most luxurious, this iteration of the Staria also stands as the safest around too as it includes 8 airbags, 360-degree surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitors, speed-sign recognition, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), radar cruise control, blind zone warning (BSM), and rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA).

Underneath, the new Staria Load Premium Edition still employs the same 2.2-litre 4-cyl turbo-diesel mill and 8-speed automatic transmission plus front-wheel-drive (FWD) setup as seen in other variants.
As the new range-topper in the Australian-spec Staria Load range, this new Premium Edition grade version commands a fittingly sizable price tag to from AUS$55,938.34 (approx. RM 169,359.76).

This new premium variant will be offered in Australia alongside the existing Staria Load variants which offer the choice between 2- and 5-seat layouts, plus twin-swing (or barn door) and liftback tailgates.
