ChargEV’s Berjaya Times Square network of chargers are now officially open to the public. This consists of 2 units of Kempower satellite DC chargers capable of outputting up to 225kW or more depending on a vehicle's input capacity. These Kempower DC chargers are strategically located at the entrance of the mall. There are also six units of 22kW AC Chargers made available at the Basement 1 car park.

For the entire month of April, EV users can enjoy a special per/kWh trial rate of RM1.20/kWh when using the high capacity DC charger while those opting for the AC chargers, would have to fork out RM0.60/kWh if you are a ChargEV member and RM0.80/kWh for non-members.

Furthermore, all ChargEV users would be entitled to a 20% or 50% off their first Starbucks Grande Handcrafted Beverage purchased in a single receipt during their charging session by simply flashing their ChargEV membership ID which is available on their mobile app at the counter to redeem. This Starbucks promo however is only valid for 2-weeks.

For those looking to try out the ChargEV Kempower DC Chargers, do take note that you would have to pay an additional RM20 valet parking fee if your charging session exceeds 30-minutes. This is to ensure EV users do not hog the charging lot and just use the DC chargers for a quick “fill-up” as these high capacity 225kW is able to rapidly charge an EV from 20% to 80% in under 30-minutes depending on the vehicle's input capacity.
