Neta V Compact EV Nets 100 Bookings During Malaysia Autoshow 2023
Neta V official preview at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023.
Previewed to the public for the first time last week at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, the new Neta V all-electric compact city car has been warmly received by many Malaysians indeed. According to brand distributors Intro Synergy Sdn Bhd, the firm received 100 bookings for the model from the show itself.
To mark the milestone, the firm, which is a subsidiary of the larger GoAuto Group, presented a special gift in the form of a Neta V miniature die cast model to the customer who placed the 100th booking order, Puan Muhaya Salleh.

"We are pleased to have reached our milestone of 100 bookings during the Malaysia Autoshow 2023. We are grateful to Puan Muhaya Salleh, for being our hundredth customer, and we look forward to delivering her NETA V soon,” said Mohd Norazli upon presenting the special gift mentioned to Puan Muhaya.
"I have been on the lookout for an electric vehicle that is both eco-friendly and stylish, as a special gift to my daughter. I fell in love with the vehicle's sleek, modern look, as well as its warranty offers. We are excited to be part of this milestone”, said Muhaya Salleh.
The latest offering to enter the burgeoning electric vehicles (EVs) marketspace in Malaysia, the Neta V drew quite the crowd at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 thanks to its seemingly affordable base price tag of RM99,800.
Adding further to which was the exclusive early bird offer where first 100 customers who placed bookings for the Neta V at the show were rewarded with an RM10,000 cash voucher.
In terms of size, the Neta V is rather compact, but it does come laden with plenty of on board kit.
Large 14.6-inch portrait-oriented central infotainment touchscreen leads the on board features list for the Neta V.
To refresh your memory, the Neta V employs a 38.5 kWh CATL-sourced battery pack to power its single front-mounted motor rated at 127 HP (127 kW) and 160 NM. The latter promises 0-50 KM/H sprints in just 3.95 seconds plus a claimed NEDC range of 380 KM. As for charging the Neta V accepts both regular AC and rapid DC charging inputs, with the latter method promising 30-80% charges in under 30 minutes.
Crucially, Intro Synergy is also offering the Neta V with a comprehensive after-sales coverage that includes a 10-year or 200,000 KM body warranty, followed by a 5-year or 150,000 KM general part warranty, plus a separate 8-year or 180,000 KM EV high-voltage part warranty as well.
Besides the Neta V, Intro Synergy detailed plans to both localise and introduce more models from the Hozon New Energy Auto-owned brand. Included here is a larger-sized Neta U crossover SUV offering, as well as a sporty Neta S sports sedan.
