The new Honda CR-V continues to shine just like its predecessors with a consistent ASEAN NCAP 5-Star rating, amassing a total score of 87.16 points. This 7-seater SUV showcased exceptional performance across all assessment categories under the 2021-2025 protocol, scoring 39.31 points for AOP, 17.97 points for COP, 18.57 points for SA, and 11.32 points for Motorcyclist Safety (MS).
The new Honda CR-V comes standard with a suite of safety features, including eight airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Seat Belt Reminder System (SBR) for both front and rear seat occupants, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) City, AEB Inter-Urban, AEB Pedestrian, Auto High Beam (AHB), Pedestrian Protection technology, and Child Presence Detection (CPD) across all its variants.
Additionally, the model offers advanced safety assist technologies, available either as standard or optional features, such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Monitor (DAM), Blind Spot Visualization (BSV) on the passenger side, FCW for Motorcycle, and AEB for Motorcycle.
The CR-V holds a special place among Honda's popular SUV lineup, and it's the fourth Honda SUV assessed under the ASEAN NCAP 2021-2025 protocol. ASEAN NCAP takes pride in the CR-V's consistent commitment to enhancing safety features for consumers. Furthermore, these safety technologies are accessible across all ASEAN countries, either as standard or optional features.
Beyond safeguarding vehicle occupants, the CR-V boasts technologies designed to prevent collisions with motorcyclists, including BSV, AEB, and FCW for Motorcycles. Notably, ASEAN NCAP commends Honda for recognizing the significance of CPD, an alert system aimed at preventing instances where children are accidentally left inside the car. This feature is offered as a standard across all Honda car variants. In recognition of Honda's unwavering dedication to providing top-tier safety technologies to Southeast Asian consumers, ASEAN NCAP extends its congratulations.
