Sime Darby Swedish Auto, Volvo Car Malaysia Partner Kota Permai Golf & Country Club
Sime Darby Swedish Auto, leading franchise dealer for Volvo cars partners Kota Permai Golf & Country Club (KPGCC) with the support of Volvo Car Malaysia as the official car brand sponsor.
Set to provide a unique electric vehicle (EV) experience in the country, the partnership will provide club members with easy access to EV charging infrastructure.
In addition to the latest Volvo models on display, two units of free-to-use 22kW AC charging stations will be strategically located at KPGCC as part of the agreement.
Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau, said, "With the added support of convenient charging stations, we believe such initiatives can collectively further enable the shift in mindset towards greater EV adoption in the country.”
Mr. Tang Meng Loon, Director of KPGCC, stated that the collaboration between Sime Darby Swedish Auto, Volvo Cars Malaysia, and KPGCC will guarantee that club members will have a positive experience with convenient and easy access to EV charging infrastructure.
