chargEV has announced an exclusive partnership with eLoaded, a developer and operator specialised in advanced direct current (DC) grid technology. This collaboration aims to transform chargeEV’s EV charging infrastructure by enhancing energy efficiency, reliability, and performance.

eLoaded’s cutting-edge DC grid technology enables optimised energy distribution, allowing chargEV’s fast-charging hubs to deliver consistent, high-performance charging even during peak demand. The tech supports large-scale charging of up to 6.3 MW while reducing energy transmission losses by up to 30%.

This aligns with Malaysia’s push for a greener economy under the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), which targets net-zero emissions by 2050.

It also comes timely as chargEV prepares to launch its first fast charging hub on PLUS Seremban RSA (Southbound) which is set to house eight EV charging bays (EVCB) with a power output of up to 350 kW.

Additionally, this collaboration also fosters knowledge exchange between the two companies, driving mutual growth and innovation.

According to ST Chua, MD of chargEV, “eLoaded's DC grid technology revolutionizes EV charging by enabling seamless, efficient, and sustainable networks tailored to modern EV drivers' needs.”

Frank Steinbacher, CEO of eLoaded, meanwhile stated, "Our DC grid technology, known for its versatility in data centres and industrial settings, will now revolutionise chargeEV's EV charging prowess."

This partnership, according to chargEV, positions both companies at the forefront of innovation and  ensures Malaysia’s charging infrastructure is well equipped to handle future demands while supporting the nation’s sustainability goals.
