SDAC's Sibu showroom pictured, operated by dealers Ngu Brothers, was recently revamped.
Ford brand distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion-Ford (SDAC) announced earlier today that it has beefed up its network in East Malaysia – arguably the brand’s most critical market space.
Starting in Sarawak, the firm sees its Sibu showroom operated by dealers Ngu Brothers get revamped. The outlet has expanded to occupy 6,135 square feet, housing a sizeable showroom plus an enhanced new customer lounge.
Said revamped Sibu outlet now joins SDAC’s network that includes dealership outlets located in Kuching, Miri, Bintulu and Kota Samarahan. Also part of SDAC’s Sarawak state network are two service-only outlets located in Kapit and Mukah.

Besides the Sibu showroom (top), SDAC Ford's Sarawak network also includes service-only outlets located in Mukah (left) and Kapit (right).
Over in neighbouring Sabah, SDAC’s network continues to see two lead dealership outlets operating in the state capital of Kota Kinabalu managed by dealers Boston Auto and Rightpower Corporation. Included here are two other dealership outlets located in Sandakan and Tawau.
Altogether, SDAC now boasts an 11-strong network of sales showrooms and service centres across both states in East Malaysia. This is critical considering that that the region continues to see growth in demand for the blue oval marque, says SDAC managing director Turse Zahir.
“Driven by this, we continuously improve our services and accessibility touch points to effectively meet the needs of our increasing customer base,” added Turse Zahir further. He also emphasised this effort is not just limited to key city centres, but also underserved regions like Kapit and Mukah.

Part of the revamp done to the Sibu showroom includes an enhanced showroom and customer lounge.
To elevate the ownership experience and and align with SDAC’s focus on delivering exceptional after-sales, Ford Motorcraft Genuine Parts are available across all authorised Ford dealers in East Malaysia at a competitive price.
These readily stocked parts, designed specifically with safety, performance and durability guaranteed. These also come with a Ford warranty and meet global standards.
