Tesla Supercharger at The Gardens Mall Now Open - RM1.13/kWh

There’s now a new Tesla Supercharger station at The Gardens Mall. Said facility was officially opened this week, and it’s located just in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.
This charging facility features four V4 Superchargers and one Destination Charger, making it easier for Tesla owners to power up on the go.

The latest V4 Superchargers come with longer charging cables than the previous V3 models, ensuring better accessibility for all Tesla vehicles. Like the V3 units, these still max out at 250kW. That said, they are designed to be future-proof, keeping Tesla’s charging network ready for upcoming advancements.
Charging rates for Tesla Superchargers remain fixed at RM1.13/kWh - one of the lowest DC charging rates in the market - while Destination Chargers continue to be free of charge. To maintain efficiency and prevent congestion, an idle fee of RM4 per minute is levied when the station is fully occupied.

Tesla’s seamless "Plug and Charge" system makes charging effortless, meanwhile the Tesla app allows owners to check charger availability, navigate to stations, monitor charging progress in real time, and handle payments automatically.

Currently, Tesla Malaysia operates 14 Supercharger stations with 64 Superchargers and 15 Destination Charging stations with 70 chargers across Malaysia.
While all Superchargers remain exclusive to Tesla vehicles for now, however under the Malaysian government’s BEV Global Leaders programme guidelines, Tesla must open 30% of its first 50 Superchargers to non-Tesla EVs by Q2 2026.
