Launched: 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition – From RM292,612

VPCM has announced the availability of the 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition, and it packs a slew of exclusive styling touches and additions on board.
Ahead of this week’s Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025), Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) elected to launch a trio of special models. All will be showcased publicly at MAS 2025, and it’s led by the 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition pictured.
Aptly, this special packs a slew of exclusive styling touches and additions inside and out. Amongst them are the Wolfsburg B-pillar crests, VW-branded tyre valve caps, lit-up door sill trims with the VW emblem, protective tailgate strip, Volkswagen Dynamic hub caps, and cargo elements with added Velcro fasteners on the boot floor mat.
Additionally, this fastback also gains the Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 (UTR 2.0) that brings both front and rear dashcams powered by Sony’s Starvis night-vision sensor. Lastly, buyers also receive a special owner’s box containing a branded keyholder, certificate of authenticity, as well as Wolfsburg Edition floor mats.

Amongst the exclusive new bit added include the Wolfsburg B-pillar emblems (left), as well as VW-branded tyre valve caps (right).
Apart from the exclusive styling touches and additional amenities, the 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition sees no mechanical changes from the regular Arteon fastback. Retained are the 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol powerplant, its 276 HP and 250 NM outputs, as well as the 7-speed DSG box and 4Motion AWD setup paired with it.
As a refresher, said powertrain package enables this sleek four-door fastback saloon to despatch 0-100 KM/H dashes in just 5.6 secs. Additionally, the Malaysia-spec Arteon also comes primed with a Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) suite that offers five selectable drive modes – Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, and Individual.
Retained too are much of the standard features found in the eregular Arteon model. Key highlights include snazzy 19-inch alloy wheels, R-Line exterior styling package, plush Nappa ‘carbon-print’ leather seat upholstery, front sport seats, 30-colour ambient lighting suite, tri-zone automatic climate control, IQ.Drive ADAS suite, and more.

Other additions include a protective tailgate strip, Volkswagen Dynamic hub caps, and cargo elements with added Velcro fasteners on the boot floor mat.

Also primed in the Wolfsburg Edition special are a pair of dashcams. Known as the Volkswagen UTR 2.0 suite, these are powered using the Sony Starvis night-vision sensor.
As for price, the 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition is tagged at RM292,612, and that’s WITHOUT the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) factored in. Said figure raises to RM306,012 on-the-road sans insurance with VAP factored in. Given the next fact, perhaps it would be wise to consider opting-in for which…
Interestingly, the optional VAP after-sales package in this special is beefed up with a longer 7-year or 105,000 KM service package. For reference, the standard model’s VAP brings a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty with a 5-year, 75,000 KM maintenance package plus 5-year roadside assistance.

Whilst on price still, it’s also worth highlighting that PHSAM will offer the 2025 VW Arteon Wolfsburg Edition with a ‘special introductory savings offer’ worth RM40,000. In turn, this brings the starting price down further to RM266,012 (with VAP).
Besides this sleek fastback, PHSAM also announced special editions for the Golf GTI hot hatch, as well as its Tiguan Allspace 7-seat SUV. You can read about them in our separate reports by clicking here and here.
