New Tesla V4 Supercharging Station Opens in i-City Shah Alam
Tesla Malaysia’s newest V4 Supercharging station is now open at i-City Finance Avenue, Shah Alam.
Tesla Malaysia has expanded its Supercharging network by opening a new V4 Supercharging station at i-City Finance Avenue, Shah Alam. This new station features four Tesla Superchargers, with prices starting at RM1.19 per kWh, with an idle fee of up to RM4.00 per minute when the charging bays are all occupied.
Just like any other V4 Superchargers out there, the one in i-City is also capable of delivering up to 250 kW, thus granting both the Model 3 and Model Y up to 282 km of EV range from a 15-minute charge, Tesla claims. Similarly, the chargers here can be operated seamlessly using the Tesla app, where Tesla users can also monitor the charging status and manage the payment for their charging sessions.
With this new Supercharger at i-City, Tesla Malaysia has expanded its network to 15 Supercharging stations with 68 Superchargers, as well as 15 Destination Charging stations with 70 chargers throughout the country.
In addition to the new Supercharging station, Tesla Malaysia also announced that deliveries for the new Model Y Juniper have started in May 2025, with the model marking a sharp 403% increase in registrations compared to the same period last year.
To celebrate this delivery commencement, the automaker is extending its Refer & Earn programme to new and existing Tesla owners, where they can earn rewards worth up to RM15,000 annually by simply referring their friends to buy a new Tesla EV. In addition to that, customers can also enjoy complimentary home charging support for seamless, cost-effective charging.
Last but not least, Tesla Malaysia also announced its new EV Switch Program to facilitate people switching their ICE vehicles to a brand-new Tesla EV. Prospective customers can earn up to RM15,000 trade-in uplift for trading in their current ICE vehicles while enjoying low interest financing rates and incentives worth up to RM43,000.
