Bateri Madani Launched - New Low-Cost MF Car Battery Option

Sejamas World Sdn Bhd has launched Bateri Madani, a new automotive battery line positioned as a lower-cost alternative to existing maintenance-free options in Malaysia.
The launch was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Karnival Mega 3 Damansara event, where it was framed as part of efforts to ease living costs for motorists, particularly within the B40 and M40 segments.
Bateri Madani is priced from RM130, inclusive of installation, diagnostics and calibration. Sejamas says the batteries are developed with global manufacturing partners and can offer savings of up to 50% compared to similar products in the market. A one-year or 20,000 KM warranty is provided for private vehicles.

Despite positioning itself as a nationwide offering, current accessibility remains limited. A check on Sejamas’ website lists four outlets to date, in Puchong, Shah Alam, Subang and Kuala Lumpur. The company says expansion will continue through its own branches and authorised dealers.
Sejamas spokesperson Alfred Kenneth Jingulam Jr said the introduction of Bateri Madani is aimed at providing more affordable vehicle maintenance solutions amid rising living costs. He cited Malaysia’s 38.7 million registered vehicles as an indicator of the importance of accessible mobility support for households.
For now, customers can book online via the Sejamas website or contact its service line while the network grows. Bateri Madani marks Sejamas’ latest move to expand its automotive services portfolio with a focus on essential-use products for daily drivers.
