Early bird package (first 4,000 units), adds on a five-year data package (4GB/month), Proton X-watch (MYR 1,499), accessories package (MYR 779) and Upgraded Proton Insurance Programme.

Six exterior colours. Snow White, Armour Silver, Jet Grey (Standard, Executive, Premium, Flagship), Cinnamon Brown, Ruby Red (Executive, Premium, Flagship) and Marine Blue (Premium, Flagship).

Interior

Dashboard

The all-new X90 gets a clear and symmetrically-aligned black theme dashboard, which is carried over from the Haoyue.

It features premium quality materials, such as soft-touch panels detailed with silver trims, and commanding the layout is the top-centre mounted screen setup.

Overall, the cockpit is well designed. All the buttons and other accessibilities are purposefully arranged, driver-centric and user-friendly.

Instrument Cluster

The Standard variant gets an analogue metre display, while the Executive, Premium and Flagship upgrade to a full-width 10-Inch digital instrument cluster display.

Seats

Variants Standard, Executive and Premium come with a seven-seater (2-3-2 layout) configuration, while the Flagship with a six-seater (2-2-2 layout) configuration.

All-black, the seats are upholstered in fabric (Standard), leatherette (Executive) and Nappa leather (Premium, Flagship).

Featured in the Executive, Premium and Flagship is a six-way power adjustment and two-way lumbar support driver seat, with the latter two variants adding on a four-way power adjustment front passenger seat (Flagship with ‘Boss Switch’).

Next, variants Executive, Premium and Flagship get ventilated front seats, with the Flagship including this for the second-row.

A second-row bench seat with 60:40 split-fold function is fitted for the Standard, Executive and Premium, whereas the Flagship gets captain seats. Third-row for all variants comes with a 50:50 split-folding function.

Space

Due to the stocky design of the body, it offers plenty of head, shoulder and legroom, thus front, middle and rear occupants get ample space.

Plus, the variant Flagship adds a front passenger ‘Boss Switch’ that moves the seat further forward, providing more legroom for the second-row occupants.

Storage Space

It has numerous storage areas including large sized door and seatback pockets, compartmentalised centre console storage areas and cavern space, and a decent-sized glove box.

Steering Functions

The three-spoke leather (Standard, Executive), Nappa leather (Premium, Flagship) steering wheel comes with multi-switches (Bluetooth, Audio, MID), and tilt and telescopic adjustments.

Also, featured is Steering Mode (Normal, Comfort, Sport), and Electric Power Steering (EPS).

Cup Holders

There are multiple cup holders located all around the cabin.

Charging Ports

Seven USB ports with three located up front, and two in the second- and third-rows. Also, the Premium and Flagship variants add on a wireless charger up front.

Boot Space

It has 257-Litres of boot space with the third-row seats up, and 2,050-Litres with the second and third row seats folded down.

The Executive, Premium and Flagship variants feature a power tailgate function, with the latter two getting a ‘nearby auto open’ function.

Exterior

Body Dimensions

Weighing in at 1,730 KG (Standard), 1,738 KG (Executive), 1,743 KG (Premium) and 1,740 KG (Flagship), the all-new X90 stands at 4,830 MM long, 1,900 MM wide, 1,764 MM tall, and with a wheelbase spanning 2,805 MM.

Front View

Exuding an overall sharp and elegant outlook, its design is based on the Geely Haoyue but with signature Proton elements.

Simple and appropriate, the front-end can be seen with a restyled version of the ‘Infinite Weave’ grille, which is in a ‘songket’-like pattern.

It is adorned with the new Proton logo and silver trimmings, and paired to a lower air-vent, completing its commanding layout.

Rear View

Smoothly done, its minimalist rear-end with clean-cut contours adds abundant to the whole premium appeal, as well as emphasising its stocky scale.

The Proton script is boldly placed in the middle of the tailgate, with a matching silver trim stretching horizontally atop of it, and bumper-edge-integrated air-vents finishes the layout.

Headlamps

Boxy and sharp, the head lamps are sporty and are linked with the grille’s frame, creating a one-piece look. Paired is a set of LED fog lamps with black surrounds.

They are full LED units with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), and come with automatic and follow-me-home functions (Executive, Premium, Flagship).

Tail Lamps

In a softly angular shape, the tail lamps harmonise well with the rear’s outlook. Horizontally and evenly positioned, they feature LED combination units.

Side Mirror

The side mirrors are electronically configurable (fold, adjust) with turn signals.

Brakes

Installed is a front setup of ventilated disc brakes, and a rear setup of solid disc brakes. The system features an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Brake Hold.

Wheels

Variant Standard and Executive ride on a set of 18-Inch alloy rims, wrapped in 225/55 R18 Continental EcoContact 6 tyres.

Meanwhile, variants Premium and Flagship ride on a set of 19-Inch alloy rims, wrapped in 235/50 R19 Continental EcoContact 6 tyres.
