- Full-sized Lego Ferrari Monza SP1 Unveiled In Legoland, Denmark
Full-sized Lego Ferrari Monza SP1 replica unveiled at Legoland, Denmark, earlier this week.
Unveiled this week at the main Legoland theme park in Denmark, this full-scale replica of the Ferrari Monza SP1 open-top supercar stands perhaps a little more affordable – and accessible – over the actual thing, which first debuted in late 2018 ahead of that year’s Paris Motor Show.
This replica was built as part of a new exhibit at Legoland Denmark called “Ferrari Build and Race”. The purpose of the installation is for children to design their own physical Lego Ferraris, which are then scanned into a computer and can be driven on a digital version of Ferrari’s famed Fiorano test track.
Everything but the wheels and tyres were crafted using Lego bricks, which totalled at a whopping 383,000.
Meant to advertise the new exhibit, this Lego replica of Ferrari’s gorgeous open-top special based on the 812 Superfast was revealed at Legoland by works Ferrari driver Nicklas Nielsen. Apart from the wheels and tyres, everything else is constructed using Lego bricks – 383,000 of which, in fact.
No images of the cockpit were released, meaning we can’t exactly see how the cabin was reconstructed using Lego bricks. However, from the looks of these images released by Ferrari through Facebook, we can see from the somewhat accurate brown-hued bucket seat that effort was clearly undertaken to do so.

Part of the Ferrari Icona range of limited-run specials, the Monza SP1 and its two-seat SP2 twin pack a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 mill derived from the 812 Superfast, albeit with a higher output of 789 HP instead, granting 0-100 KM/H in just 2.9 seconds.
Just 499 units were planned, each commanding a base price of €1.58 million (approx. RM7.8 million) before options. Of course, we don’t expect this Lego replica to fetch similar pricing, but 383,000 Lego bricks aren’t exactly cheap neither…
