LIMA 2025 happening now in Langkawi marks the airshow and defence expo's 17th edition.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) revealed via press release that it has elected to serve as the Official Royal & Government Fleet Provider for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA 2025) that takes place in Langkawi island this week.

As a refresher, LIMA 2025 takes place in from May 20 to May 24. Like past editions, LIMA 2025 effectively turns  the hosting resort island into one big exhibition and presentation stage for one of the region’s largest airshow and defence expos.

Leading this fleet is the marque’s locally-built (CKD) S580e PHEV luxury saloon, as well as the all-electric EQS 580 4Matic SUV. Whilst the former has been around for a bit, the latter EV SUV was launched in late 2023 and refreshed with a new variant last year.
