LIMA 2025 happening now in Langkawi marks the airshow and defence expo's 17th edition.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) revealed via press release that it has elected to serve as the Official Royal & Government Fleet Provider for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA 2025) that takes place in Langkawi island this week.
As a refresher, LIMA 2025 takes place in from May 20 to May 24. Like past editions, LIMA 2025 effectively turns the hosting resort island into one big exhibition and presentation stage for one of the region’s largest airshow and defence expos.

Serving as LIMA 2025's Official Government & Royal Fleet Provider, MBM has deployed several key flagship models for which.
As such, the three-point star’s Malaysian arm has answered the call of its official role mentioned by providing a fleet of flagship vehicles serving as transportation for both VIPs and delegates throughout the event’s running.
Leading this fleet is the marque’s locally-built (CKD) S580e PHEV luxury saloon, as well as the all-electric EQS 580 4Matic SUV. Whilst the former has been around for a bit, the latter EV SUV was launched in late 2023 and refreshed with a new variant last year.






Amongst the vehicles fleeted for this duty is the EQS 580 4Matic SUV the firm launched back in 2023.
“Our collaboration with LIMA 2025 reinforces our dedication to delivering world-class mobility solutions, integrating advanced technology with luxury,” remarked Amanda Zhang, CEO and president of MBM.
The exec also emphasised how LIMA 2025 serves a s a platform that paves the way for the marque to showcase how it continues to drive the future. This is also prevalent via a special display booth the brand established at LIMA 2025 too.






Also fleeted for this role at LIMA 2025 is MBM's signature CKD offering the S580e.
Notably, MBM has also elected to have its seventh-gen (R232) Mercedes-AMG SL roadster on display at this booth mentioned. Specifically, it’s the Mercedes-AMG SL 43 variant on show here, which the firm launched back in 2023 priced at RM999,888.
