The Royal Malaysian Police or better known as PDRM will be working alongside the Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) in launching the MyBayar Saman website and mobile application in conjunction with the 214th Police Dat, which will be at 2.30 p.m. today. This event will be officiated by the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Abdul Hamid Bador.
PDRM states that the summons application and website was created to ease summon payments for the public in an efficient way as well as to support the government policies through the Public Sector e-Payment Strategic Plan and the End-to-End Online Improvement Implementation Plan (E2E).
The application and website will be launched in line with MyDIGITAL's mission, which is an initiative by the government to provide cashless payment options by 2022.
How do you use the MyBayar Saman website and application?
There are three steps needed which are account registration, information review and summon payment.
New users will need to register first by entering their personal information and perform an OTP verification before login.
After that, information reviews can be done from your account to view any due summons. If the user receives a new summon, a notification will be displayed from the application itself.
To make payment, users can choose any desired transaction modes through the payment website.
Good news for anyone with unpaid summons!
JSPT has announced that in conjunction with the 214th Police Day and the launch of MyBayar Saman, users can enjoy summon discounts of up to 50% starting from today, March 25 till April 11, 2021. Note that the discount given is subjected to terms and conditions.
The discount will only be valid for summon payments only through the MyBayar Saman app and website.
What are you waiting for? Head down to mybayar.rmp.gov.my or download the MyBayar Saman app through the Google Playstore for Android users and Apple App Store for iOS users!
