4th Generation Emgrand Sedan, First In The Series Developed On Geely’s B-segment Modular Architecture (BMA)
Geely Auto introduces the 4th generation Emgrand sedan, the first in series to be developed on the company’s B-segment Modular Architecture (BMA).

The Emgrand made its debut twelve years ago! After its continuous improvements to cater to the needs of its 3.25 million users, the model became the best-selling Chinese brand sedan for 9 consecutive years.
Highlights of the latest model include a sleeker body, more significant space, improved comfort, better handling, higher quality, and Geely’s latest technologies. The 4th generation Emgrand stands at 4,638 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,460 mm tall. Its exterior features Geely’s signature expanding cosmos grille.

Interior highlights include a central control console that consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25inch floating main infotainment panel, GKUI Geely Smart Ecosystem, AI voice assistant, a CN95 intelligent purifying AC system, a double-layered three-dimensional storage compartment, increased rear trunk space as well as improved spatial visibility.

The higher trim is a 540° surround-view camera system, ultra-high def driving recorder and a hands-free trunk opener. The vehicle is connected to Geely’s Smart Ecosystem for additional convenience through the GKUI that supports OTA updates.
In addition to that, the chassis tuning has been improved, but it has also provided the vehicle with premium level NVH performance.

Under the hood is Geely Auto’s newest 1.5L 4-cylinder DVVT ultra-light all-aluminium engine that produces 84kW and 147 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or the latest generation CVT automatic transmission.
The latest Emgrand model was produced in the Geely Changxing plant that uses the industry’s most advanced intelligent production processes to achieve zero deviation fully-automated stamping, environmentally-friendly zero waste automated painting, and 100% automated robotic welding.

Not forgetting that the plant also uses full digital twinning of the entire production process to ensure constant improvement and quality.
