KTM East Coast Intercity Train Services Resume - Flood Condition Improves

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) just announced that its Intercity KTM train services on the east coast route which was disrupted earlier in the week due to flood has been fully restored as of 11.50am.
The resumption of these services was based on the subsiding of the flood between the Tanah Merah and Pasir Mas tracks. However, KTMB spokesperson also added that the resumption of this service would entirely be based on the impending weather conditions. KTMB will from time to time monitor the weather and water levels to ensure safe operations of its train services.
Passengers are requested to always check on KYMB’s social media for any updates with regards to its train services or call its hotline at 03-2267 1200.
